Dahua IPC-HDW1230T1-A 2MP IR 30M Dome Network IP Camera

The Dahua IPC-HDW1230T1-A 2MP IR 30M Dome Network IP Camera is an affordable and dependable Entry Series surveillance camera designed for residential and commercial security applications. It combines Full HD imaging, infrared night vision, smart video compression, audio recording, and PoE connectivity in a compact eyeball-style housing.

The camera uses a 1/2.8-inch progressive CMOS image sensor and supports a maximum resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels at 25/30 fps. This provides detailed and smooth video for monitoring entrances, reception areas, shops, offices, corridors, warehouses, gates, and other important locations.

For nighttime surveillance, the camera has a built-in IR LED with an illumination distance of up to 30 meters. The IR system can be controlled automatically or manually, allowing the camera to switch between day and night monitoring according to the lighting conditions.

The camera uses a fixed-focal M12 lens and is available with 2.8mm and 3.6mm lens options. The 2.8mm version offers approximately 101° horizontal and 119° diagonal viewing angles, while the 3.6mm version provides approximately 86° horizontal and 103° diagonal viewing angles.

For improved image quality, the camera supports DWDR, 3D Noise Reduction, BLC, HLC, Smart Illumination, image rotation, mirror, and privacy masking. These technologies help maintain clearer images in challenging lighting conditions, including scenes with backlighting, shadows, and excessive image noise.

The IPC-HDW1230T1-A supports Smart H.265+ and Smart H.264+ compression. These technologies help reduce video bandwidth and storage requirements while maintaining useful image quality, making the camera suitable for NVR-based surveillance systems.

For intelligent monitoring, the camera supports SMD human detection, helping identify human movement more effectively. It also supports motion detection, video tampering, audio detection, network disconnection, IP conflict, illegal access, and security exception events.

A built-in microphone provides audio capture along with video. This can be useful in shops, offices, reception areas, entrances, and other locations where audio information adds value to video surveillance.

For easy installation, the camera supports 12V DC and PoE (IEEE 802.3af). With a compatible PoE switch or NVR, both power and network data can be transmitted through a single Ethernet cable, simplifying CCTV installation.

The camera also features IP67 protection, making it suitable for outdoor applications where protection against dust and water is required. Dahua specifies an operating temperature range of -40°C to +60°C.

Overall, the Dahua IPC-HDW1230T1-A 2MP IR 30M Dome Network IP Camera is an excellent choice for customers looking for an affordable 2MP Dahua IP camera with 30m IR night vision, human detection, built-in microphone, Smart Codec, PoE, and IP67 protection.
