Dahua DH-IPC-HDW1230T2-S5 2MP Dome IP Camera

The Dahua DH-IPC-HDW1230T2-S5 2MP Dome IP Camera is an affordable and dependable surveillance solution from Dahua's Lite Series. It is designed for customers who need reliable Full HD network monitoring with essential image enhancement, infrared night vision, efficient video compression, and flexible network connectivity.

The camera uses a 1/2.8-inch CMOS image sensor and delivers a maximum resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels at up to 25/30 fps. This provides clear and smooth Full HD footage for monitoring entrances, offices, retail stores, corridors, homes, warehouses, schools, and other security-sensitive areas.

The 2.8mm fixed-focal lens provides a wide viewing angle of approximately 102° horizontally, 54° vertically, and 120° diagonally. This makes the camera suitable for locations where a broad viewing area is required without the need for motorized lens adjustment. The camera also supports flexible positioning with 0°–360° pan, 0°–78° tilt, and 0°–360° rotation.

For nighttime surveillance, the DH-IPC-HDW1230T2-S5 features two IR LEDs with an illumination range of up to 30 meters. Its automatic ICR day/night function allows the camera to switch between color and black-and-white imaging according to available lighting conditions, helping maintain useful surveillance footage after dark.

The camera incorporates several image enhancement technologies, including DWDR, 3D Noise Reduction, BLC, HLC, ROI, and digital watermarking. These features help improve visibility in challenging lighting conditions, reduce image noise, and allow important areas to receive priority processing.

For efficient storage and network performance, the camera supports H.265, H.264, H.264B, H.264H, and MJPEG video compression. It also supports Smart H.264+ and Smart H.265+, helping reduce bandwidth and storage requirements while maintaining useful image quality.

The camera supports useful abnormality and security detection functions, including motion detection, video tampering detection, network disconnection detection, IP conflict detection, illegal access detection, and security exception detection. These functions can improve monitoring and help identify unusual activity or camera/network problems.

For easy installation, the DH-IPC-HDW1230T2-S5 supports both 12V DC and PoE (IEEE 802.3af). PoE allows power and network data to be delivered through a single Ethernet cable when connected to compatible PoE equipment, helping simplify CCTV installation and reduce cabling requirements.

The camera supports ONVIF Profile S, CGI, and P2P, making it compatible with a range of network video recorders and surveillance systems. It also supports iOS and Android clients and Dahua software platforms for remote monitoring and management.

With an IP67 protection rating, the camera is designed to resist dust and water ingress, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Its compact housing measures approximately 103.2mm × Φ109.9mm and weighs around 0.26kg, making installation relatively simple.

Overall, the Dahua DH-IPC-HDW1230T2-S5 2MP Dome IP Camera is an excellent choice for customers looking for an affordable 2MP Dahua CCTV camera with Full HD resolution, 30m IR night vision, H.265+ compression, PoE, motion detection, wide-angle coverage, and IP67 protection.
