The AVISION MiWand 2 Wi-Fi Pro is a portable scanner designed for users who need to digitize documents while traveling, working outside the office, or operating in locations where a computer is not immediately available. Its compact handheld design allows you to scan by simply gliding the scanner across the surface of a page.

Powered by a lithium battery, the MiWand 2 Wi-Fi Pro can operate without being connected to a computer during handheld scanning. Scanned images can be saved directly to its built-in memory or an optional microSD card with capacity up to 32GB. The built-in 1.8-inch color LCD allows users to preview scanned JPEG images and review stored images directly on the scanner.

Unlike a standard handheld scanner, the MiWand 2 Wi-Fi Pro includes a feeder dock. When attached to the dock, the scanner can automatically start scanning when a sheet is inserted into the feeding slot. The dock supports documents up to 216 × 356 mm (Legal size), making it useful for scanning regular office documents as well as larger pages.

The scanner supports 300, 600, and 1200 dpi output resolutions. At 300 dpi, an A4 black-and-white page can be scanned in approximately 0.6 seconds in handheld mode, while sheet-fed scanning takes approximately 6 seconds. Color scanning takes approximately 1.6 seconds handheld or 6 seconds sheet-fed at 300 dpi.

The built-in Wi-Fi function allows scanned images to be accessed wirelessly from computers and mobile devices. A USB 2.0 Micro USB interface is also available for wired transfer. The scanner uses CIS technology with an LED light source and supports paper as well as cards, with supported card thickness up to approximately 1.0 mm.

Its patented double-roller design helps improve feeding reliability and reduce skewing, while the book-edge design makes it easier to scan pages from books.
